Influenced by concepts of attachment and permanence, Jack’s work often reflects the emotional connections individuals and families form with treasured objects. He combines minimalist sensibilities with both traditional craftsmanship such as bronze casting and timber turning and contemporary manufacturing technologies. This thoughtful blend of process and material gives his work a distinct aesthetic and emotional resonance. Jack’s designs have been widely exhibited across Australia and internationally, including three appearances at the London Design Festival, and he has received honours such as the Robert Juniper Award for the Arts and runner-up for Best Australian Designer at Denfair.
